Andrew Joseph MailhotSenior Associate
Andrew has over a decade of experience as a litigator, representing both individual and corporate clients primarily in employment and intellectual property disputes. He has substantial experience in all facets of litigation, from pre-dispute negotiations through trial, as well as appellate advocacy experience. In addition, Andrew has represented clients in matters before various government agencies and before numerous mediators and arbitrators. Andrew’s employment litigation experience ranges from single-plaintiff discrimination/wrongful termination cases to large-scale wage and hour class action matters, and he has obtained significant results for his clients.
Andrew’s practice also includes employment law advice and counsel. He has advised numerous corporate clients on human resources practices and procedures and has represented both companies and executive clients on issues related to employment, severance, intellectual property, and non-compete agreements.
In addition to his litigation experience, Andrew has experience teaching legal skills as a professor at the Florida International University Law School. Outside of work, Andrew is an avid distance runner and enjoys drawing and playing bass guitar.
