Joana Fernandes was born in Portugal but spent the majority of her life in England. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business and Human Resources from Nottingham Trent University before going on to complete a Master of Laws at the University of Law in Nottingham. She later continued her legal education in the United States, earning an LL.M. from UCLA.
Before joining the firm, Joana gained legal experience across the UK, China, and the United States. Joana has worked in immigration, employment and business law matters. She speaks four languages, including English, Portuguese, Spanish and French.
