Jenna R. Avila is a Senior Employment Attorney with The Ottinger Employment Law Firm, where she represents employees in employment law matters. She graduated as valedictorian of her law school class and has more than 10 years of experience practicing employment law, including serving as a partner at a California-based boutique employment law firm in the Bay Area. She is licensed to practice law before all California State Courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California.

Prior to joining The Ottinger Employment Law Firm, Jenna represented both employees and employers in employment disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour matters. She has represented clients in litigation and arbitration proceedings, as well as before administrative agencies, including the California Department of Civil Rights, California Department of Industrial Relations, California Labor Commissioner’s Office, and California Employment Development Department. Jenna’s experience representing employers gives her valuable insight into the other side of employment disputes, allowing her to approach each matter with a well-rounded perspective.
