
Overview
Paraskevi (Eva) Batsikas is a 2021 graduate of Northeastern University School of Law (NUSL) in Boston, MA.
During her time at law school, Eva completed three internships as part of Northeastern’s unique co-operative experience.
Eva’s first internship was at the California Appellate Project where she assisted in the review, record collection, and defense of indigent individuals on death row in California’s prison system.
In her second internship, Eva worked with the Arts and Business Council of Greater Boston where she focused on providing legal assistance to local artists in the Greater Boston area.
Some notable projects include reviewing an agreement with a local visual artist and major tech company; assisting in the formation of business entities; and reviewing and analysis of an agreement between a designer and major design company.
Eva’s third internship was with the California Lawyers for the Arts where she worked in the Lawyer Referral and Information Service assisting with the intake of new applications for legal representation by local artists.
In her last quarter of law school, Eva participated as a student member in the Intellectual Property Co-Lab, NUSL’s Intellectual Property Clinic.
During her time at the clinic, Eva conducted trademark searches, filed applications, and appeared as a guest lecturer for an art design class providing intellectual property law guidance.
Prior to law school, Eva worked as a paralegal on Nationwide Insurance’s legal team where she gained litigation experience by providing support to attorneys in a variety of insurance defense cases, including construction cases, underinsured/uninsured motorist claims, dram shop claims, and products liability claims.
Eva’s varied legal experience brings a unique perspective when representing clients.
